Technical Sales Manager Environmental Technologies (f/m/*)

What are my responsibilities?

The department UP I&S ECO (Upstream Iron & Steelmaking ECO) is searching for a "Technical Sales Manager Environmental Technologies (m/f/*)" and assigns following tasks:
 
  • Acquisition, tender processing, preparation of technical offers for Environmental Technologies projects
  • Development of sales strategies
  • Conducting product and bid presentations for Environmental Technologies solutions
  • Preparation and conducting of technical contract negotiations
  • Preparation of cost calculations
  • Cooperation with other Primetals Technologies (PT) departments and regional companies involved in sales process world-wide
  • Leading of bid projects including other segments and regions
  • Intensive cooperation with the various technology and specialist departments at PT
  • Support of project execution teams

What are your specific tasks?
  • Analyzing of customer tender documents
  • Preparation of technical solution together with other PT departments and regional companies
  • Preparation of technical contract documents together with other PT departments and regional companies
  • Cost calculation
  • Presentation of technical solution to customer
  • Negotiation of technical contract documents with customer
  • Support of commercial negotiation with customer
  • Project handover to execution team
  • Support of execution team including feedback loop to technical sales

What do I need to qualify for this job?

  • 3 to 5 years of experience in the acquisition and/or project planning of plants and/or plant components
  • Higher technical institute or university degree (e.g. HTL, technical university) preferred
  • Strong ability to work in global teams
  • Advanced English skills
  • Advanced MS office skills
  • Readiness for business trips (30%)

What else do I need to know?

The minimum annual gross salary for this position under the collective agreement and assuming that all requirements are met is EUR 58.788,80 (G/00). This could rise considerably, depending on qualifications and experience. We also offer attractive social benefits, such as occupational health, adequate free parking, a canteen, as well as flexible working hours.
