Lead Engineer Continuous Casting (f/m/*)
What are my responsibilities?
Our department Casting & ESP (CE CCM-O EN) is searching for a "Lead Engineer Continuous Casting" and assigns following tasks:
- Ensuring that the plant engineering / performance complies with the contractual requirements (e.g. schedule, technical completeness, technical standards, technical interfaces, operation, maintenance, safety requirements)
- Coordinating technical interfaces among engineering disciplines and associated plant areas and other involved parties (e.g. schedule, technical completeness, technical standards, technical interfaces, safety planning)
- Supporting in technical clarifications with customer and other involved stakeholders (e.g. customer consultants, consortium partners, approval agencies, suppliers and manufactures)
- Conducting regular engineering team meetings (in coordination with Project Management)
- Supporting in procurement, manufacturing, installation, cold and hot commissioning planning, and execution activities
- Ensuring the execution of design requirement (R´1) review
- Monitoring the execution of the review process (R´3, R´5, TLLR or plant review reviews)
- Monitoring engineering compliance to safety requirements and contribute to risk assessments (e.g. HAZOP)
- Ensuring structured engineering change management (e.g. documentation, schedule and cost impact, lessons learned)
- Coordinating the preparation of the overall project engineering standard documents.
- Coordination and support of the technical sales department in finding solutions in the pre-project phase.
What do I need to qualify for this job?
- HTL, FH or technical university
- MS software, Autocad 2D, 3D design program (e.g. Inventor)
- Experience in mechanical/plant engineering (mechanical equipment)
- Self-organization and independent work
- Several years of professional experience in the steel mill or plant engineering sector
- Willingness to work abroad and high ability to work in a team while accepting cultural differences.
- English, able to communicate both verbally and in writing.

What else do I need to know?
The minimum annual gross salary for this position under the collective agreement and assuming that all requirements are met is EUR 46.614,68 (E/00). This could rise considerably, depending on qualifications and experience.
