Innovation Manager (f/m/*)
What are my responsibilities?
As a key member of our Innovation and Research & Development (R&D) organization, you will support strategic innovation initiatives and foster collaboration across global R&D teams. This role is instrumental in aligning innovation efforts with the company’s strategic direction, promoting a culture of continuous improvement, and driving cross-functional engagement.
We assign the following tasks in our department Research & Development Management (PTAT RDM):
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate closely with R&D teams across all locations to drive innovation, support unified R&D processes, and highlight achievements in internal and external communications
- Innovation Strategy: Contribute to the development, communication, and execution of the company’s innovation strategy, ensuring alignment between strategic priorities and R&D initiatives
- Open Innovation: Facilitate collaboration within R&D and with external partners to strengthen innovation capabilities and knowledge sharing
- Trend and Technology Analysis: Monitor industry trends and emerging technologies; conduct market research to identify developments relevant to our business. Provide actionable insights and recommendations
- Best Practice Monitoring: Stay informed on industry-leading practices, offering guidance to enhance current methodologies and processes
- Innovation Programs and Workshops: Plan and lead innovation-related workshops, continuously evolving formats such as Intrapreneurship and Multi-Stakeholder Initiatives
What do I need to qualify for this job?
- Degree: Master’s or Ph.D. in Product / Innovation Management or a related field; alternatively: Master’s or Ph.D. in any technical science
- Experience in an R&D environment, project management, or innovation management role expected, preferably within an international, industrial company
- Language Skills: Fluently in English (written and spoken) is essential; knowledge of other languages is an advantage
- Technical Skills: Broad technical knowledge and understanding, relevant for industrial applications
- Project Management: Experience in managing projects and leading cross-functional teams
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively across different cultures
On a personell level you convince us with excellent interpersonal and communication skills, enabling you to work effectively across cultural boundaries and organizational levels. You are self-driven with a hands-on attitude and a solution-oriented, forward-thinking approach. Additionally, you are skilled in facilitating workshops and innovation sessions, possessing strong analytical capabilities and a structured approach to complex challenges.
What else do I need to know?
The minimum annual gross salary for this position under the collective agreement and assuming that all requirements are met is EUR 52.197,04 (F/00) or EUR 61.022,78 (G/00). This could rise considerably, depending on qualifications and experience.
